A solid wall of people extended for more than 2 city blocks.

On June 21, 2015, groups of parents marched in every capital city across Australia to support the right to make free and informed vaccination choices for their children and themselves. These events were coordinated by groups of volunteers who worked very hard to try and make sure that as many people as possible were able to attend. Unfortunately, the (mainly) Murdoch media refused to either publicise or report on these marches. In Brisbane, more than 1,000 people showed up to have their say and to hear speakers talk about why vaccinations must never be made compulsory nor should financial penalties or discrimination be government-supported. Anna-Marie Stancombe, who was present at the Brisbane march, has been kind enough to provide us with her take on this very successful day – the first of many. Please be sure to sign up for updates on this blog as we will shortly be providing you with other ways in which you and your family and friends can act to support your health rights.

It was a beautiful winter’s day with Brisbane shining from the warmth of the sun, the public enjoying their Sunday of shopping and coffees. They were oblivious to what was coming. On the horizon there was a storm brewing over in the picturesque Queens Park.

A few hundred people had started to gather. The young, the old, those with children and those without. The mothers, the fathers, the grandparents, brothers and sisters. They also were enjoying the glorious weather, but they were there for a purpose – a very important purpose.

We all had one common goal – to defend our absolute God-given right to ‘valid consent’. Our right to choose medical procedures for ourselves and, most importantly, for our children. Our human rights to speak out against medical and government tyranny.

The theme of the day was ‘No Jab, No Pay, No Way’. This protest was in response to the purposely controlled and planned campaign by Rupert Murdoch’s papers of ‘No jab, No play’. This has resulted in the Government announcing legislative reform to revoke family tax benefits and child care rebates of conscientious objectors to vaccinations. There will also be no religious exemptions.

People gathered to promote freedom of choice against state-enforced measures that used lies, deception, coercion and propaganda.

By 11 am there was more than 600 peaceful protesters gathered with their placards and t-shirts. They all asked for the same result – freedom to choose. Some of the slogans said:

‘We are protesting for your democratic right’,

‘The bill contradicts valid consent, we will not be manipulated’,

‘If it comes with a risk, there must be a choice’,

‘Human rights = Health choice’,

‘Discrimination alive and well in Australia’,

‘Our child, our choice’,

‘Pro choice, Pro democracy’

‘Stop violating Human Rights’

‘Always vote no to biased media’

And of course ‘No Jab, No Pay, No way.

There were guest speakers, who bravely talked of personal experience of their children who were damaged by vaccines. There were speakers who presented the other side of the vaccination debate – the information doctors and the medical field neglect to openly talk about. The dangers and risks of vaccinations. No one was promoting not vaccinating, they were simply presenting a balanced view of the pros and cons of vaccination and the risks involved.

We even had an ex-police sergeant, Chris Savage, who passionately told of his battle to expose the incredibly heartbreaking abuse by the ‘system’ where innocent parents have been accused or worse still, charged with ‘child abuse and murder’ of their children when they have sadly and suddenly died from an adverse vaccine reaction. He lost his career and was ostracised after trying to help these innocent families.

Mainstream media was very obviously absent when more than a thousand people marched through the streets of Brisbane in solidarity. We sang in We sang in unison – ‘Where there’s risk, there must be choice. Where there’s risk, there must be choice’.

Representatives from Brisbane's own VAIS were on hand to give out information to parents and others. They have been volunteering for over 25 years on this issue.

Shopkeepers and shoppers both came out to look; people put down their coffees to ask what was happening. What was all the noise about, they wanted to know? Our message was loud and clear and it was getting through.

‘No Jab, No Pay, No way’

Similar rallies were held all around Australia’s capital cities and were well attended. Brisbane reportedly had the biggest turn out. It must be the weather.

  1. I think everyone has the freedom to make their own choices, as long as it is NOT to the detriment of others.

We need to protect those that cannot be vaccinated, by getting vaccinated, the more that are vaccinated, it will protect those that cannot be vaccinated and stop those ones either getting very sick or dying, which is a very real possibility.

My children could be vaccinated, so I did get them vaccinated, at least I have peace of mind that my children cannot pass on stuff and kill other children, or make children that cannot be vaccinated very sick to the point they could end up causing other problems with others health or killing them, that is something I could not live with.

The more that are Vaccinated (if they can be) the more diseases can be irradiated we are seeing a lot of the old diseases coming back in a big way because parents will not vaccinate.

The government will not take entitlements away from parents to help with the children if its proven they cannot get vaccinated, nor do I think religion is an excuse to not vaccinate, to me religion is about love, peace, and caring for others, and doing no harm. Making choices that could potentially harm others should not be a freedom

This is the only thing from this government that I agree with, and it’s the only way to make them do it, as a lot of people cannot survive without that assistance

    1. Poor girl you have been brainwashed by the propaganda machine, run by those who have financial interests in the continuation and expansion of vaccines. Once it was 8 vaccines, now it is around 40 before they go to school. You really do need to check the ingredients and ask why non vaccinated children are a risk to those already vaccinated. Either they work or they don’t. Babies immune systems are compromised or destroyed by newborn vaccinations, so they can now catch anything that is going around, including the diseases that their siblings have been vaccinated for. It’s all about the money, not health.

    2. Serena, I haven’t had time to respond until now but I did think it was important to reply to your comment.

“We need to protect those that cannot be vaccinated, by getting vaccinated”

You are under the misapprehension that being vaccinated will prevent you from spreading diseases to others. Nothing could be further from the truth. Study after study has shown that not only are the fully vaccinated still susceptible to infection themselves, but they can and do carry infection without showing symptoms. In addition, those who receive live virus vaccines (measles, mumps, rubella, chicken pox, oral polio and rotavirus) may be infectious for up to 90 days after. In fact, if you read the manufacturer’s information for these vaccines, you will see that the drug companies recommend that those who are recently vaccinated should avoid contact with anyone who is immunocompromised (undergoing cancer therapy or on immunosuppressive therapy) or young infants. So if your concern is truly with those who cannot be vaccinated, you should be pushing to prevent the recently vaccinated from being around them – not the healthy unvaccinated. Also, it is becoming painfully obvious – and studies are showing – that the pertussis (whooping cough) vaccine is not only ineffective but might also be making those who are vaccinated more susceptible to both infection and to asymptomatic carriage of the disease. This could explain the fact that we are in the 8th year of a record-breaking epidemic of whooping cough in Australia and in other countries where the vaccine is used on a mass basis.

“The more that are Vaccinated (if they can be) the more diseases can be irradiated we are seeing a lot of the old diseases coming back in a big way because parents will not vaccinate.”

Again, this is untrue. Australia has a record-high level of vaccination and more cases of whooping cough per capita (in 2013) than we had before mass vaccination. This disease is not coming back because of low vaccination rates. It is coming back because the vaccine is ineffective; it increases susceptibility to infection; and it has caused the bacteria that causes whooping cough to mutate into a far more dangerous strain.

If you agree with these government policies, you are doing so based upon incorrect assumptions rather than scientific fact. In addition, because vaccinations carry with them real and, in some cases, quantifiable risks of lifelong disability or death, it is immoral to require anyone to take them if they think they are not in their own or their children’s best interests.

Would you, Serena, like to hold down a baby and forcibly vaccinate it even when the parents feel that it might kill or permanently injure that same baby? I don’t think you are that kind of person. But that is the power you want to give our elected government – the government that has been empowered to protect us – not to force us to harm our children and ourselves.

Please think twice about your support for the removal of any human right. No government has the right to do this – and nor do you.

  2. Well done all your freedom warriors and shame on the mainstream media who are making themselves irrelevant by refusing to report the whole truth on the dangers of vaccines, for reasons known only to them.

  3. Well done Australia! Here is an easy to use web form action item that lets you send an email to the PM about this issue. Let your voice be heard! http://tinyurl.com/NoForcedVaxAustralia
A number of courts around the world (including the US Supreme Ct) have held vaccines to be “unavoidably unsafe” — they are an uninsurable risk. International humanitarian law is clear: you have the fundamental human right to say “No!” to any medical intervention. More about that here: http://tinyurl.com/InformedConsentPetition

    1. Thank you so much for that link, Ralph! I will be putting together an email based on work done by several groups in Australia and this resource will come in very handy indeed! The government and the medicos have woken a sleeping tiger. There is no way to stop a parent from protecting their child and Australian parents will not stop until their rights have been protected!

  4. Serena’s post is very useful because it highlights the main piece of misinformation in this whole debate – misinformation that unfortunately informs the actions of politicians – and that is the untrue claim that vaccinated kids cannot pass on a disease to others (whether vaccinated or not). More and more research is showing this is simply untrue, and in fact the acellular whooping cough vaccine has been shown to make vaccinated people carriers for much longer than the old whole cell vaccine.
The other media-promoted untruth she repeats is that diseases are coming back because people are unvaccinated – which also is simply untrue – medical journals have many reports of why whooping cough for example is coming back – and it is mainly because the strain in the community has changed and so the vaccine is simply less protective – and there are other reasons as well like the limited life of vaccines.
People like Serena genuinely believe this misinformation, and the people really responsible are health authorities who actually know better, but withhold the truth from parents.
The facts are: no GP in Australia would give their personal guarantee of the safety of vaccines; Govts have to indemnify vaccine manufacturers against prosecution because they know side effects can happen; 20 countries have vaccine damage compensation schemes (not Australia)which have paid out billions of $$ because of damage done by vaccines; there are no published studies comparing the long-term holistic health of fully vaccinated and fully unvaccinated children – yet our Govt. now financially penalises parents who have genuine concerns about safety.
Well done to those who marched for all our freedoms, including Serena’s who one day may discover, to her horror, the real facts
